Privacy Policy

Shwa Paw (“we”, “us”) is a weekly meal planner operated by The Mania Group LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Shwa Paw app and website, why, and the choices you have. We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t show third-party ads.
What we collect
- Account details. If you create an account (for example with Sign in with Apple), we receive your email address or Apple’s private relay address and a user ID.
- Your planning preferences. Weekly budget, household size, meals per day, favorite cuisines, food priorities, diet, allergies and foods you avoid, kitchen equipment, store and ZIP code.
- Optional personal goals. If you choose to set one, a body goal (lose, maintain, gain) and a daily calorie target. These are optional and only used to suggest meals.
- What you create. Your weekly plans, grocery lists, saved recipes, and recipes you import from a link, a photo or by typing them in, including any photo you add.
- Purchases. Whether you have Shwa Paw Plus, your trial and renewal status. Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your card details.
- Feedback. Messages you send us from the app, with the app version and device model.
- Basic usage and diagnostics. Crash reports and anonymous counts (for example, how many plans were made) to keep the app working.
How we use it
- To plan your meals, build your grocery list and estimate prices at your store.
- To keep your plans and recipes in sync across your devices.
- To provide Shwa Paw Plus and restore your purchases.
- To answer your feedback and improve the app.
Service providers we use
- Supabase stores your account and data on servers in the United States.
- Apple processes payments and Sign in with Apple.
- RevenueCat manages subscription status.
- Anthropic reads a recipe photo or web page you choose to import and turns it into a recipe. Only that photo or page is sent, and it isn’t used to train models.
- Kroger provides weekly product prices. We send only a store location, never your personal information.
- Zippopotam.us turns the ZIP code you type into a city name.
These providers only use your information to provide their service to us.
Prices and nutrition
Prices are weekly estimates and nutrition values are calculated from ingredient data. They’re for planning, not guarantees or medical advice.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all its data at any time in the app under Profile → Delete account, or by emailing us. Data saved only on your phone (without an account) is removed when you delete the app.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your personal information by emailing support@shwapaw.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights; we honor them for all users.
Children
Shwa Paw is not directed to children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to it is restricted by account-level security rules.
Changes
If we make important changes, we’ll update this page and let you know in the app.
